About

Juliet creates ephemeral figures in dream like scenes exploring memory, emotion and the psyche. She paints in oils pushing the boundary between figuration and abstraction. Her use of colour draws the viewer into the atmosphere created in her paintings, where the background and figure are given equal importance. By capturing expressive emotion and intensity, she places herself and her struggles on the canvas too.
